one code · any table · no sign-up
a word game to play with friends, without the faff
multiplayer word games usually start with the boring part.
you make an account, send an invite, then sit in a lobby waiting for someone
to load. wordhoard's friend challenges skip that. one phone deals a board and
shows a QR code, and the code is the game: letters, clock and mix
included.
joining: one scan, and you have their board
any number of phones
every phone that scans the code deals the same letters on its
own. two players or twelve makes no difference, because there are no seats to
fill. count down together, play the same 30 seconds, then compare scores
across the table.
no accounts, nothing to join
nobody signs up for anything, because wordhoard has no
accounts at all. the game never touches a server, which is also why it still
works on a plane or in a cabin with no reception.
