Wordhoard is a word game for travel that works offline on iPhone. Download it before you leave, then play a 30-second word hunt on a flight, train, underground or campsite. The board, dictionary and scoring stay on the phone; the Daily score can wait until you land.

Before take-off
Download Wordhoard from the App Store and open it once. No account or sign-in is required. After that, the core game is ready for airplane mode, including the letter boards and the dictionary used to check your words.
What works without Wi-Fi
When you reconnect
The game does not interrupt a round to ask for a network request. When you have a connection again, post your first Daily finish to the global top ten. Open Play and Friend Challenges stay local; they do not need a server to run.
Can I play Wordhoard on a plane?
Yes. Wordhoard plays in airplane mode because its boards, dictionary and scoring live on the iPhone. Only posting a Daily score needs a connection.
Does Wordhoard work on a train or underground?
Yes. Open Play and the Daily board work without signal. You can post a Daily score after the train reaches a connected section.
Can friends play offline while travelling?
Yes. One phone shows a QR code that carries the board. Other phones scan it and deal the same letters locally, with no internet or account.
What happens to my Daily score without internet?
The board still plays offline. The app needs a connection only to post the score to the global scoreboard, so you can wait until you land or reconnect.
